As one walks around the school, they may see their fellow peers invested in their phones. Some students will be texting or scrolling through social media, but for us, it is always a mobile game.
Here are five of our favorite games to download to purge your boredom once and for all.
5) 1010!
“1010!” was created in 2014 by a Turkish game developer, Gram Games. Similar to Tetris, it is a very calming, satisfying and alluring game where the objective is to earn a high score by stacking blocks on a grid, filling up rows and columns. Once a player fills up a full row/column, the blocks in that line vanish and points are earned.
The game gives you three different shapes at a time to place on the grid, but be careful: if you run out of space to place one of your shapes, you lose and have to restart. Points earned can be used to purchase new themes/shape colors. You will not regret playing this game.
4) Watermelon Game : Monkey Land
“Watermelon Game: Monkey Land” developed by Han Song Ey Jo is an immersive and addictive fruit matching game that will keep you entertained for hours on end. The objective of the game is to combine fruits to get the glorious watermelon.
The fruits range from small to large: blueberry, cherry, lime, banana, persimmon, apple, peach, coconut, melon, pineapple, watermelon. Not only is it fun, but the fruits have adorable faces on them and it is aesthetically pleasing in general. Try it out!

2) Racing in Car 2021
“Racing in Car 2021” is a game created by Studio WW Games in 2021. The objective of the game is very simple: speed on the highway and get close to cars without crashing. The closer you get to crashing into a car, the more points (or coins) you earn.
As you gain more points, you can use them to purchase other vehicles which can be faster, have better handling and better braking. It takes a few runs to get used to the game, but don’t worry, because then it gets extremely fun. 100% give it a try!
1) True Skate
“True Skate” was created by games developer True Axis in 2012. It is a timeless, relaxing, mindless game that will grab your attention from the start. It is a finger-skateboarding game, set in a skatepark with various half-pipes, rails, ramps, stairs, walls and more. There is no true objective, however that does not take away from the experience.
There are so many challenges to work on and hundreds of tricks to learn. There is a feature where you have to land various tricks in a row under a time limit, called a line.
Each trick gives you a specific score that varies, and the higher your accumulated score under the time limit, the more coins you earn. You can use these coins to buy or customize new boards, new skate parks (that are based on real life!) and clothing for your character. It comes with a price of $1.99, however, it this low price is definitely worth it.
